How to Start a Tinder Conversation
Starting a conversation on Tinder is easy, but getting her attention is hard.
Imagine this scenario:
- You see a picture of a beautiful woman that catches your attention and swipes right
- She sees your profile and swipes right too
- It’s time to start chatting, but what should you say?
This scenario sounds familiar if you have been using Tinder for a while.
Starting a conversation might be intimidating, or you must begin by putting a simple “hi” or something similar. However, there are better openers than that, and now it is time to reveal some great Tinder openers.
Best Pickup Lines on Tinder
Here are ten of the best pickup lines on Tinder (if you want all of them, click below to subscribe to my email list to get all of them):
- I noticed that you swiped right when you saw my profile. What was it that caught your attention?
- You look like a sweet person. I have to watch myself so you don’t give me diabetes. 🙂
- I’m thinking about you, me, and whipped cream inside my bedroom. If you’re curious, respond to this text.
- I have trouble pronouncing your name. Would it be okay to call you cupcake, or do you prefer honey?
- Is your name Angela because I think God just lost an angel?
- I don’t think you need those glasses, girl. Cause you make my vision 20/20.
- Is there a rainbow today? Cause I just found my treasure.
- The roses are red. Violets are blue. I’m a poet wondering when I will have a date with you.
- OMG! I think I will get cardiac arrest! Can you come over and do CPR on me… like right now?
- Are you a doctor? Because I think I’ll need one every time I look at you.
You have some of the best pickup lines on Tinder that you should send her ASAP. However, there are still some good Tinder first messages that I have not revealed to you since I only show them in my free report.

Hooking up from Tinder
Is Tinder a hookup app?
Yes, it can be a hookup app, but there’s a catch.
Most singles on Tinder are looking for a serious relationship, and it is essential to know when you start using it. There are, of course, people who try to scam other users as well, but that is not unique to this dating app, but something every dating app and dating site face.
However, the good news is that you can use Tinder to find hookups in your local area if you do it correctly.
How John, 32, Uses Tinder to Get Hot, Attractive Women with This Secret Text
In the US, let me tell you about John, a 32-year-old guy living in San Fransisco, California.
John had been in a relationship for four years when his then-girlfriend Chanel cheated on him with his best friend, Eric. John was devastated when he discovered Chanel’s affair with Eric he had known since pre-school.
He thought relationships weren’t meant for him, especially when he met “Hannah” on another dating app. “Hannah,” as she called herself, was a gorgeous blonde, 27-year-old, 5 ft, 7 inches tall woman from Helsinki, Finland.
She immediately started to flirt with him, sending him cute messages and sexy pictures of her activities, and she had a thing for muscular guys.
For that reason, John decided to go to his local gym to get more muscles since he was pretty skinny then.
“Hannah” had bumped into a jealous ex who went over her phone and asked her numerous questions about her and John’s texting. After a while, “Hannah” started to send him strange text messages. She claimed that she didn’t feel safe chatting on the app anymore.
For that reason, she wanted John to use a popular app to send messages to other people.
Her bad luck didn’t end there since she got robbed and hospitalized when she visited London and needed John to send some money to her to pay her bills. “Hannah” even sent some pictures to prove that she was in the hospital, and she had lost her credit card and couldn’t get any financial help from her parents.
John sent her the US$300 she asked for with the promise of paying him back as soon as she could return to her native country.
Of course, “Hannah’s” problem didn’t stop there since she then needed to pay her embassy to prove that she was a citizen and an additional fee for them to make her a new passport.
So, John wired her the extra US$750 when she asked him.
Before John realized that he was a victim of a scammer, as you probably figured out by now, she asked for an additional US$1,000 to be able to pay the legal fees to hire an attorney in the UK to file a formal complaint to the court, before she could leave England.
He also wired that before reading about love scams on the FBI’s website.
Of course, it didn’t make him trust dating apps and websites, which he had been skeptical about since he was in his early 20s and started to date.
Suddenly, she reached out to John again, claiming that her phone was stolen and needed to borrow an additional US$10,000. Money that John didn’t have to his name. When she asked him to take a payday loan, John knew it was a scammer he had been talking to for the last two months.
John reported the account to the dating app, and they took it down in minutes.
Apparently, “Hannah” was a Nigerian love scammer who had been using the dating app to find victims online and made quite an impressive living for herself.
After this bad experience, John didn’t go out on a date for six months.
Then, a co-worker named David convinced him to try Tinder and shared some of his first messages that he used to find hookups on Tinder.

3 More First Messages That You Can Text as the First Message on Tinder
One thing you can learn from John’s experience is that a message contains these elements:
- Something that triggers an emotional response in the person who receives your message
- A statement that is short, like a slogan, will beat lengthy conversations all day long
- Proper grammar is not necessary all the time, but most of the time
- Never ask people for money or start chatting on a different app, but keep it on Tinder. They are very good at spotting scammers and quickly shutting down their “operation” to keep you safe.
- Have fun, stay safe, and be sure that you tell her that you want a hookup, not a serious relationship, very early in the conversation.
These are some general practices of good Tinder first message practices.
As promised, here are the three last messages that I am giving away for free:
- When I first saw you, I thought I must have died and come to heaven.
- Are you from Venus because you look like you’re not of this world? 😉
- Why do I start to think all those dirty thoughts right now?
Both David and John have used my secret great Tinder opener that I only reveal to my newsletter subscribers.
